Perfect Heat™ vs. Traditional Carpet
Extractors
Don't be misled by claims of 212°
temperatures. All heated extractors can
produce high temperatures for a few
seconds. How they maintain the temperature
in real cleaning situations is what is
important when you go to clean carpets. We
conducted laboratory tests of 5
traditional carpet extractors. These
traditional extractors claim temperatures
of over 200°. Here are the real
results in a realistic cleaning
situation.
Test: Each machine was filled with hot tap
water and run for ten minutes. They were
run in 8 second cycles with 4 seconds of
spray and 4 seconds of rest. Every three
minutes there was a 15 second rest. The
temperature was recorded at the tip on the
end of a 20 foot solution hose.
Conclusion: When the Perfect Heat™
system is added to a traditional carpet
extractor the average solution temperature
is increase by 20º-30º can be
maintained for over 10 minutes.
